Stuff and Things

I am sorry for failing to update in a while. There has not been very much noteworthy going on lately. I had a birthday a little while ago and got some cool things for it. I got a pair of Kendo swords and have been practicing with them. My arm strength has improved but I don't know about my technique because I have none to train me. I am trying to find a book or something about Kendo so I will at least have some basis for my training. I also got Final Fantasy Chronicles which is two older games: Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger. I have not started Chrono Triger yet but I'm about a third of the way through Final Fantasy IV. They are both very old games so the graphics arn't so hot, but the storyline for Final Fantasy is great. In additon to those two gifts I got a borders gift card, a Forgotten Relams history book and a movie called The Pyromaniac's Love Story. It is a pretty good movie and the book is interesting too. Recently I have downloaded an Image editing program called GIMP. It is very powerful and some of the functions are amazing, but It is not very intuitive. I have found myself using GIMP for it's brushes and then finishing up the editing with another program I have called Paint.net. Both of the programs are very good and I may end up putting some of the pictures I've made on this site. Both of them are completely free and here are the links to the websites to download them. Downloading

I have recently been on a bit of a downloading fix. I've downloaded then deleteted about 3 gigs of games and data over the past 3 days or so. I've run across some pretty cool games and systems while I was doing this though. There is this really weird sand game that is super addictive that you can play on your browser at http://chir.ag/stuff/sand/ I've also found this game where you run a small city at http://www.travian.us/index.php In Addition there is this pretty cool FPS you can download at http://www.sauerbraten.org/ I hope someone has fun on some of these sites.

I found a rather bizarre game on the internet. It is quite fun however.

A Language

My friend and I are going to be making a language. It will be symbol based as opposed to alphabet based and so each letter will mean a different word. We have also decided that color will have an important role in our language. The same symbol in a different color will have a different but similar meaning. If anyone has any good ideas for our language please post them. Our primary goal is to build a concise and distinctly different feeling language. If we eveer finish I will put the language on a seperate website and link to it on my blog.

New Semester for me. My day is quite different with the class changes. I've got a robotics class and a advanced multimedia class. I will be attempting to make some sort of flash game in the class and when I finish I'll put it on this site.
